The Arthur Rubinstein International Music Foundation will organize the second edition of the Rubinstein Festival in Łódź between the 18th and the 26th of February, 2011.
Placed under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, and of the honorary members Eva and Alina Rubinstein, this event will include soloists such as Emmanuel Ax, Daniel Baremboim, Yo Yo Ma, Garick Ohlsson, etc. The Philharmonic orchestra of Łódź owes its reputation to the great conductors and soloists who were associated with its history : J. Hoffman, W.Landowska, W.Malcuzynski, Paderewski, Arthur Rubinstein, Saint-Saëns, Szymanowski, Sarasate, Igor Oistrach, Penderecki to name but a few.
