Since its creation in 1968, ŠfK (Slovak State Philharmonic, Košice) quickly took a lead in the international scene like an orchestra of reference. Extremely with an important discography (150 Cds), it is associated with great names such Valerij Gergiyev, Luciano Pavarotti, Thomas Sanderling, Tadeusz Strugala, LIBOR Pešek, Emin Khatshaturyan, Igor Oistrakh, Gidon Kremer, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Julia Fischer to quote only some of them.
